High End Chefs – Vacancy Advertising / Introductions Service Terms and Conditions
All “Introductions” and Advertising accepted by Alison Challoner-Jones at HIGH END CHEFS (to be known as the “Service” hereinafter) shall be governed by the “Advertising / Introductions Service Terms and Conditions” and supersede all other terms and conditions in any event.
You are a “Client” or potential “Client” of ours and the recipient of these Terms and “you” “your” and “yours” refers to you.
The “Advert” or “Vacancy Advert” refers to the Client search requirements or vacancy specification and requirements.
High End Chefs by Alison Challoner-Jones shall be known as the “Service” and “our”, “ours”, “we’ and “us”. In brief terms “HEC” is a recognised acronym of the “Service”.
The “Portal” refers to the website and its subscription members.
The “Introduction” or “Introductions” refers to the relationship between the “Chef” or “Candidate” and the “Client”
The “Agreement” refers to the Client and Service relationship and this set of Terms and Conditions
High End Chefs (owned by Alison Challoner-Jones) is a communications and public relations business operating within the private hospitality, and outside the conduct of employment agency regulations.

1. Advertising ONLY
Flat rate per role fee. Introductions apply directly to the Client via URL or email.
Fee per advert is €70 for a duration of 30 days.
The fixed fee includes :
Single Advert
Full support and review / minor editing (if required) of your application to advertise a “vacancy advert”.
Publishing of the vacancy advert on our website at highendchefs.com and across social media channels including LinkedIn professional company page, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and via email to the High End Chefs audience.
The vacancy advert will remain published for a period of 30 days for a single advert, and bespoke duration for 6 month or 12 month “subscription periods”.
Access to the portal is given to Clients on a 6 month or 12 month unlimited job advertising plan. Access includes :
Filtering of the CVs and food portfolios via the HEC Platform in order to assist with the Client’s management of the recruitment process;
2. Introduction
2.1 Introductions include all services set out in Paragraph 1. plus enhanced services set out in this Paragraph 2.
2.2 If the Candidate introduced by The Service is not hired by the Client or if he doesn’t engage with the employment offered by the Client, and if the Candidate is then employed by the Client within a period of 12 months following the date of first Introduction to the Client or receipt of the CV of the Candidate, then the Client shall pay fees in full to The Service as set out in Paragraph 3.
2.3 If the Client decides to hire more than one of the Candidates for a secondary position, who has been introduced by The Service, within a 12 month period from initial Introductions then the Client shall pay The Service fees for each of the Candidates hired as stipulated in Paragraph 3.
3. Fee Structure
3.1 The Client may purchase from :
ADVERTISING ONLY
Advertising single role €70
Advertising unlimited roles 6 month subscription period €199
Advertising unlimited roles 12 months subscription period €299
All adverts are valid for a period of 30 days unless published via the 6 or 12 month periods.
OR
ADVERTISING + HEADHUNTING / INTRODUCTION
Introduction rate seasonal / temporary 1% or €70 minimum set up / Advertising fee per role + 5% of gross revenue on completion. Should the role continue resulting in repeat bookings with the chef beyond the agreed initial period, 5% of all gross revenue during the season period will be due from the Client to the Service.
Introduction rate NON seasonal 1% or €150 minimum set up / Advertising fee per role + 5% of gross revenue on completion. Should the role continue resulting in repeat bookings with the chef beyond the agreed initial period, 5% of all gross revenue during the season period will be due from the Client to the Service.
3.2 The Client agrees to pay the Advertising or Introduction fee to The Service. by Electronic Bank Transfer or Stripe Card Payments.
3.3 Should the client wish to use an identical job specification for more than one role or more than one location, they will pay the fee per role as per the structure above, unless otherwise agreed with the Service by prior arrangement.
3.4 If the Client introduces the Candidate or any Candidate introduced to the Client by The Service to another person, within a 12 month period, the Client shall pay fees to The Service in accordance with Paragraph 3.
3.5 The Client will not be entitled to a refund of the Introduction fee if the engagement between Candidate and Client is subsequently terminated, or if the Client wish to terminate for any reason the search and Advertising prior to the end of the 30 day period
3.6 The Service may charge interest on all overdue debts. This will be indicated on all invoice payment conditions. Final payment is due 7 days from agreement closure. Late payments or failed debit attempts will incur standard fees of :
3.7 A first reminder which will be sent the day after the payment was due.
After a period of 8 days a reminder will be sent with a 12% addition plus €40 fixed fee.
You will then have a period of 8 days to make the late payment plus fees.
3.8 The Service may agree a bespoke fee structure with the Client. This must be agreed in writing or email via the Service owned platform electronic signature.
4. The Advert
4.1 For each role advert the Client will provide :
- The company full name, address, business registration and nature of the business.
- The advert job title
- Salary
- Hours of work
- Location
- Term of the engagement
- Deductible costs from salary and things included at no extra cost
- Accommodation arrangements if any
- Travel arrangements if any
- A full description of the role
- Necessary or desirable qualifications/experience
- Training provided – if applicable
- Visa and Nationality requirements
- Job benefits and bonuses
- Insurance
- Acceptance of self employment
- Anything else you consider relevant.
4.2 The Service has the right make modifications to optimise the content and layout.
Once published the Client may request a single round of edits or modifications by email request. Should the Client wish to make further modifications, they will be required to pay a further advertisement fee of €70 per role.
4.3 The Client will be provide clear, valid and current information pertaining to their vacancy requirements.
5. Indemnities, Guarantees and Liability
5.1 The Service will undertake extensive and all necessary measures to ensure information provided by any Candidate is current and true. The Service does not take responsibility nor liability for error or misinformation or false information provided by the Candidate including qualifications, references, age, experience and other information pertaining to the Candidate or role.
5.2 The Service shall not be liable to the Client for any circumstances arising out of or in connection with this Introduction and / or hiring of the Candidate. The Service shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to profit, revenue, savings, data use, contract, goodwill or business or any indirect or consequential loss or damage, howsoever caused or arising.
5.3 This Agreement, together with the specific terms agreed constitutes the entire and only legally binding agreement between the parties relating to the Introduction, and replaces any previous agreements or arrangements. No variation to these terms on behalf of The Service can be made otherwise than in writing signed by The Service.
5.4 Any failure by The Service to enforce at any particular time any one or more of the terms of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such rights or of the right to subsequently enforce the terms of this Agreement. If any provision, clause or part-clause of this Agreement is held to be invalid, void, illegal or otherwise unenforceable by a judicial body, the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
5.5 The Service has the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
